The Iraq war and Sub-prime crisis are two peas in a pod.
-Both have roots in the 90's and were made catastrophic by Bushco in the next century.

-Both were built on lies and deception.

-The public realized both were unsustainable long before most politicians did.

-Not much talk of justice for the evil doers

-Both show how strong special interests (military/industrial complex, financial industry) are, even as the USA lies in ruin.

That's just dumb.

EDIT: Not the least of the reasons for the pure, unadulterated stupidity of that post is the fact that it was NOT a "subprime" crisis. That's simply the first spot where the mortgage crisis appeared. Prime foreclosures have since made up for that headstart, and are now outpacing subprime.

2. OK, Subprime was the match that lit the fire for the financial meltdown.

4. No, it wasn't. It was just the first place the meltdown was visible.
