How I'll measure Obama's success as Prez in his first term.
If after 4 years, 85% of all the vast wealth in America is still owned by its wealthiest 15% of the population- I'd call that a failure.

We must end the wealth divide and stop the class of aristocracy. Stop feeding off the backs of the working class.

Please Mr Prez, look towards Sweden.

As an American of Scandanavian descent(Norwegian), I glow with pride in my Marxist roots. We could learn alot from that region of the world if we could just stop and open our eyes.

Peace.

4. Yet, Obama's first budget has us headed in the left direction.
Calling for a higher tax rate on the wealthiest and making huge investments in health care, education ect. It's a nice start, considering we're only 6 weeks into his 1st term.

I think Barack is on a mission to change that 85% statistic.

I'm suprised at how many people think that change is impossible. Like you.

9. I know
I'm beginning to think Obama is a liberal in centrist's clothing.

This budget is blowing me away.

3. I agree that reversing the redistribution of wealth to the wealthiest is important...
...but I'm not sure Obama will be able to have that much of an impact.

Realistically, we can expect him to get the ball rolling in the right direction.

6. I think the ball starts rolling when Barack signs his first budget.
From the looks of it, his first budget contains massive investments in people. Healthcare, education ect. And an increase on the marginal tax rate of the wealthiest Americans.

Looks to be the largest investment in the people since LBJ.

If this is a sign of things to come from our Prez then I think Obama will be a tremendous success as Prez. To do this in 4 years is alot to expect. Then again we've all heard the expectation the Prez has placed upon himself. He seems to be a man on a mission.
