about Rove as guest:

I am appalled that you have prostituted yourself in allowing Karl Rove a forum from which to speak. Shame on you.
I turned the TV off when I saw Rove's face on your show. Why does he deserve a forum? Karl Rove is one of the architects of the republican disaster that has ruined public discourse and destroyed public confidence in government. He's a known liar. His presence further destroys any credibility your show may have had to inform the public.
I am disgusted that you have prostituted yourself by having Karl Rove on your program. Shame on you.
THIS WEEK has been part of my Sunday morning routine for years. I have always appreciated George's selection of thoughtful and insightful guests on the roundtable who give a respectful and balanced perspective on issues facing our country on both domestic and international current events. I am extremely disappointed in George and ABC for opening the panel up to Karl Rove who along with Dick Cheney, set George Bush up as a figure head, engaged our country in a war without provocation, set up the conditions for the financial peril that we are currently in and simultaneously set up a culture of disrespect and arrogance that is intolerable. All of that without having the courage or honesty to own any of it. Rove and Cheney were the presidents over the past 8 years - not Bush. They drove the agenda - he weakly followed. Rove's input this morning demonstrated that he is feeling no sense of responsibility or contrition for the state that he left our country in. His exchanges also showed him to be totally incapable of learning from past mistakes. Mr. Rove does not care about our country...only for his own old agenda. If ABC news can not present viewers with guests who have an honest interest in moving us forward with new ideas, then you have no place in any of my life routines. I urge you to rethink your choice of Mr. Rove. If his appearance today is a sign of a new direction of ABC news toward embracing the past administration's culture of arrogance and disrespect, then you can count me out as a viewer of THIS WEEK or any of your news coverage. I am terribly disappointed.
George, if you did this for a ratings boost, you got it but in reverse. 'Looks like you just lost a lot of loyal viewers. Congratulations!
We have been watching your show for many years and were appalled to see Karl Rove this morning-- how could you reward this man with a place at your roundtable? We watch your show to learn more about the issues this country faces and expect to see experts and thoughtful critics--Rove is neither. Allowing this man who was the master of deception and character assassination during the Bush years a voice on your program to voice his political and personal agenda only created conflict and divisiveness among your panel members. We learned nothing. We will not watch your program again if you invite Rove back. How sad to see a quality program like yours sink to such a low level.
