2. Now talking about Limbaugh. 'He is the voice, the force behind the
rethug party.'

3. Making sure that the Republics have to defend, or denounce Rushbo.
It is a winning strategy, it rocks them back on their heels and puts them on the defensive.

Tomorrow the Republics will be forced to comment on this, one way or another. Either way, they will alienate one side of their base.

Rahm, drive that wedge. This strategy is full of win.

He was smiling all the while he said it, too.

4. I gained new respect for Rahm after listening to him this morning.
Lets face it, you have to be smart to beat down Newt and Rahm can do this.

13. Rahm knows someone who goes to a gun fight with a knife won't fair very well
That is why the Rethugs hate and fear Rahm so much. He doesn't make stupid mistakes.

Meant to reply to post # 2. They will now have to defend or denounce him.

6. and he's hotter than George Clooney
Is this how men feel when they objectify women they find attractive? He's so swooningly good-looking that I have a hard time listening to what he's saying. I'm so shallow. : - )

7. That's so odd. When I see Rahm, I just don't think 'hot'. I don't
know why. Clooney is another matter...:hide:

8. I am not an Emanuel fan.
But that was a thing of beauty.

Several times Bob tried to interrupt Rahm's answers, but Rahm just kept on talking, ignoring the interruptions.

Bob ran a clip of Newt, then asked Rahm who was the head of the Republican Party now.

Emanuel charged right in saying Limbaugh had proclaimed himself as such, at the big PNAC meeting, and that all the Repubs were kowtowing to him and none of them had said differently. He also tossed out how Limbaugh had declared that he wanted Obama to FAIL.

Then when Bob thanked him at the end, he laughed, and said, "I actually enjoyed it!"

This is how it's done. Maybe he's been reading DU? I can just see the president kicked back watching this, with a big grin on his face.

I may or may not care for his policies, but I believe he is the president's man, and he is good at his job.

10. While not much of a Rahm fan.. I DO appreciate the way
he can nip the RW framing right in the bud. He won't let Bob steamroller him with unexamined crapola..

That was nice to hear. A real conversation.

He certainly did hang him around the Republicans' necks.

17. The other good thing that Rahm did was hang the trillion$ of debt that Obama inherited
right around the necks of the Republicans also. Come 2010 the fact of those inherited trillion$ need to be plastered on billboards all over the country.

Here on Face the Nation, Rahm has such a quiet and confident demeanor and is clearly enunciating his points. We need a lot more Dems like that on these shows.
