Forget the issues and details; attack motives!

Are the dittoheads too stupid to see what Limbaugh does or do they just not care?

He will raise an issue or topic in the news, and rather than discuss the details, he will ascribe a false motive to someone and then attack that.

His "analysis" of Democratic proposals doesn't have anything to do with the actual proposals. His "analysis" goes something like this: "What the Democrats want is (made-up crazy motive)," or "Obama just wants to (made-up scary motive)."

That's it. That's all he does.

I know this type of opposition is easier than actual thinking, but the dangerous part is that it's all designed to foment fear and resentment, and the result is that we have a lot of angry uninformed people walking around thinking they're informed.

PLEASE, I beg the Republican Party: STAND BY THIS MAN. Raise him to the level of de facto party leader.
