Where are Republicans getting their information on Socialism?
Every day, Republicans are on the news attacking Obama and the Democrats for pushing a Socialist agenda, that will be BAD for America. They sure do have selective memory about the hard shove to Right Wing Extremism they exhibited for the last 8 years, though. They completely ignore the tax rates for the rich after WW II, leading up to their Glorified Reaganomic years, and the economic result that came from those high tax rates for the rich and low tax rates for working people. You know, them Good Ole' Days they'd like to have back.

Republican Leadership, Rush Limbaugh, Mann Coulter, Michelle (Bole Weevil) Malkin, Skank Hannity, Bill O'Liar, blowhard minions, and wannabee Rush Limbaughs stand in front of the camera and parrot over and over how Socialism has FAILED everywhere it has been tried.

Oh really? Where has it failed? Where are they talking about? When in the Hell has Socialism even been tried here anyway? Are they claiming that Social Security is a failure and needs to be ended too? Is that their message to the American People?

Can someone please explain where in the Hell these lunatics are getting their information from, to support their claims about Socialism?

More importantly, when are their claims going to be challenged by the Democratic Party?

Tip for the Democratic Party.... They are on the ropes, turn on and turn up all the Progressive Ideals they have kept beaten down over the years, because the American People really do need them to be policy now and more than ever.

1. Simple; they equate "socialism" with hardcore communism and ignore any grey areas
The Dems will likely not challenge them on it anytime soon, since the US still largely defines itself in terms of the Cold War and doing anything other than ignoring the "omg socialism!" rhetoric will be spun as "they're defending Stalin!"

3. Actually, they confuse socialism with Stalinism and Keynesianism with socialism.
Thus, Keynesianism is Stalinism to a Republican. :eyes:

11. Republicans declared communism beaten, when the Soviet Union fell.
During the last 8 years, Republicans went on to make Communist Red China, the United States' best friend.

Besides, they are still recovering from trying to morph 'terrist' with communist.

I never understood why Democrats didnt fight these lame exaggerations through the years ....

They can equate a John Kennedy with a Josef Stalin, and hardly anyone bats an eye ...

Spineless Democratic party behavior .... It has to stop .....
