The end game: Elect Palin 2012
Am I wrong? There can't be a more logical explaination for the resurgence of Rush Limbaugh, and the hard turn to the right the Republicans have taken suddenly; combined with the massive attacks on Obama's character and policies.

1. it's a LOOOONG way to 2012.
it might be more about holding the line in the senate in 2010.

3. That's why it's the end game.
The slobbering Rush zombies see it as a long road ahead. They want to start with the Senate in 2010, and finalize it in 2012.

7. it's too far off to even think about.
it's completely likely that palin will be utterly insignificant well before 2012.

10. I can hope.
But then I realize that someone with the same ideas will just run in her place.

That is, if the Republican Party isn't forced to become more moderate to not lose its voters.

18. I would disagree.
There are much more moderate candidates that would be better suited to run. Hopefully they will.

i don't really care who they want to run- it's none of my concern and i have absolutely no control over it.

if you want to fret unnecessarily about such things for years to come- be my guest...:hi:

They'll be back in full force. They learned from the last election. Remember, McCain didn't lose by a wide margin. The Hardline Conservatives love Palin. Selling the moderates is their ultimate goal.

6. I think the entire CPAC is an example that they have not learned
a thing. They look like a bunch of children trying to find someone to "blame" for the loss other than their broken politics.

14. Sarah Palin isn't fit to run a Burger King.
She's Tonya Harding tabloid fodder.

20. What do you think they learned from the last election?
Don't run an evangelical wing-nut?

That is the lesson they were taught.

I hope they didn't learn it. I hope they repeat their exact same mistake they made this election.

Obama won in a landslide. I hope they forget that as well.

5. This early, the crystal ball is a bit cloudy. Forced to lay down real money,
I'd bet that Palin's aspirations for the presidency will end in the bitter cold wind of Iowa, in January of 2012.

I believe her fellow Republican candidates will make very quick work of her.

12. Stop legitimizing limp-balls and palin by "talking" about them....
...and let them fade off into the obscurity that they deserve.

At least it was entertaining when he embarrassed himself at the CPAC.

17. McCain's people shielded -- well, HID -- Sarah Palin from media scrutiny.
She would not enjoy any such advantage competing for the GOP nomination in Iowa.

She would have to run a very public campaign, answer editorial boards' thoughtful questions, and not least, stand on several public stages and debate her fellow Republican contenders.

Huckabee alone will destroy her.

23. Chrisa, were you born yesterday????
#1 There is no hope in "electing Palin"....she would fail miserably in a general election. She is dumb. A know-nothing. There is massive proof all over the internet that she is a religous wingnut and a race baiter. And on top of that, she doesn't know how to string words together in a coherent sentence.

#2 The Republicans "hard turn to the right."???? Are you serious. War. Torture. Tax Cuts for the rich. Terry Shcaivo. Where have you been???????

#3 There is no "resurgence" of Pigboy. His ratings have not gone up. They've gone down. And, the Democrats are calling him out on purpose and make Republicans kiss up to him because it makes them ALL look bad to the general public. This is on purpose and Democrats LIKE it....

#4 "Massive attacks on Obama's character and policies".....first off, welcome to 1993. Character attacks are the only ammo that Republicans have had since Newt's failed "Contract ON America." And the so-called "policy differences"....well, it's nothing new that the opposition party has difference of opinion on that....
