Global New Deal
Something tells me that something quite large is in the works. Could this be the reason that the administration appears so stale in its actions? Is there a larger plan that is going to be presented? Something that is implemented by multiple nations?

Listening to the Gordon Ramsey presser, this is what I feel.

1. Hopefully the annoying gnats in the GOP won't hold up...
a global solution to the world financial problems. The begining of a peaceful, green world. Even just trying it is incredible.

4. Because the IDEOLOGY of unrestrained capitalism has not changed.
And at any rate, the US and UK are poorly positioned to "save" the world's poor when we cannot care for our own.

5. I am not an expert but why can't we take care of our own
Isn't that why we elected a Progressive president? I thought the point of all this change was to try to remedy this problem.

What is it that we are doing with health care etc.?

8. "Why we can't" is the wrong quest. "Why we DON'T" is the right one.
"Isn't that why we elected a Progressive president?"

President Obama is a centrist who has declared his allegiance to capitalism and "free trade". He is not calling for Universal Healthcare, or any sweeping social reforms at the moment.

6. Gordon Ramsey? What does that FOX show, Hell's Kitchen, have to do with this?
More apropos, is this "larger plan" a good one, a bad one, or what?
