Jim Cramer and Harold Ford ... Who's the Greater Fool?
Tweety is attempting to rationalize the notion (argument) that the fall in the market (specifically the Dow) is attributable to weaknesses in the Obama administration's policies.

I say HORSESHIT.

The stock market reflects nothing more than casino-style gambling and there is NO legitimacy to the notion that ANY level actually reflects underlying value. None whatsoever. The market prices of stock are almost entirely decoupled from the health of the underlying corporations. A dwindling minority of 'investors' have any notion what P/E even means, let alone what's healthy.

Less than 1% of the dollar volume of trades on the market actually represents actual capital infusion into the underlying corporations, available to pay employees or purchase plant or equipment. It's NOT 'investment' in the true sense of the word, anymore than purchasing a Lotto ticket is an investment or playing Blackjack is an investment.

All comparisons to some earlier date on which the Dow was lower or higher are flawed ... since there's NOTHING to indicate the level on THOSE dates were a better or worse reflection of economic health ... either of the whole economy or of the underlying corporation.

1. Why is Ford allowed to go on TV and opine about ecnomic policy when he's
drawing a paycheck from Merrill Lynch.

And shouldn't that be disclosed by Tweety to his audience every time Ford appears.

I happen to think it's a huge conflict of interest. And it is simple journalist ethics to let us in on this very important fact regarding Ford's POV.

7. The Rich, Financial Networks, and Wall Street are at War with Obama
Its up to the American People to stand behind him. Looks like he's going to have these groups along with the Republicans hating him like FDR

8. Yup. I don't think there's much question about it, despite his conciliatory attitude.
 No good deed will go unpunished.

9. Cramer needs to calm himself down.
Get the man an IV of valium or something. He could probably make "Mary had a little lamb" sound like the end of Mother Goose.
