Edited on Tue Mar-03-09 06:13 PM by Botany

built in the 1930s as part of CCC project and now part of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park
this area gets tens of thousands of visitors per year and the park makes money for the
area's businesses and people.

3. 0.5 miles? 1.2 miles?
I see they're using the communist decimal system. It's like a gateway drug for the metric system. And we all know what that means.

5. People in towns with sidewalks in older sections of town: check for dates in cement
I recall walking on MANY sidewalks that were build in the 30s - labor done by men who were damned happy to have the work. Those people built lots of important buildings and infrastructure we still use. Hell, I WORK in a building that was part of FDR's 'socialist agenda'. It was the only solid school building around here for decades!

7. Same with the creek behind my dad's house.
They straightened a curve and put in a small dam.

The WPA was a great, great program.

is a perfect location for a Supercenter, along with a HomeDepot and a Fantastic Sams. Who needs to be paid off to get this prime piece of real estate opened for development????:sarcasm:
