nsa/at&t wiretap. suspend first amendment. anyone having people say
you were right.

twice now my hubby has said to me, you were right. i did not believe you back when, you were ranting about bushco taking away freedom of speech, tapping all of us. and you were right.

it is so glorious. i love it. what more will come out.

many of the people i know that ignored me, or didn't believe me will never have the courage to acknowledge i wasn't full of hot air. but they know.

anyone else having people validate the anger of bushco years?

1. Most of the Bush-lovers around me have basicaly erased Bush from their minds.
They just don't talk about it, just like the Germans don't talk about the Hitler era.

2. No
but I live in red state hell.

General consensus here is that if you aren't doing anything wrong then it shouldn't matter if somebody is monitoring your communications. Or anything else.

5. Fundie central here
in Tulsa. If it makes you feel any better I always root for Texas to kick ass in the OU game. I cannot wait to see Oklahoma in my rear view mirror.

7. I'd be embarrased
to be a native or long-term Okie. I have aging parents in a small area in Arkansas. I'm sure that in the not too distant future I will need to relocate there to help care for them. My siblings, their families and their in-laws are all there. My only concern about doing so is figuring out how to earn a livlihood there. I have no idea how to do that in a small long depressed rural economy.

8. We had a champion in Sen. Feingold
for this very important right. Please call and thank this wonderful and courages Senator from Wiscosnin. He stood alone for years. Let him know how thankful you are.

Office of Senator Russ Feingold | 202/224-5323

March 9, 2007 - Statement of U.S. Senator Russ Feingold on the Department of Justice Inspector General report on the USA PATRIOT Act. "This report proves that 'trust us' doesn't cut it when it comes to the government’s power to obtain Americans' sensitive business records without a court order and without any suspicion that they are tied to terrorism or espionage."

He has been working on behave of this issue for years, and deserves a thank you from those of us, who were told we were full of hot air.
