Dem Congresswoman to Speak at Moonie Event on Capitol Hill
Yesterday, I did a post on DU about how Sun Myung Moon, predatory religionist and owner of the reactionary Washington Times, had once again weaseled his way back to Capitol Hill (in 2004, Moon's operatives set up a bizarre coronation ceremony in the Senate Dirksen office building). Today, the Moon Tribune reported that Eddie Bernice Johnson, Democratic Congresswoman from Texas will be a speaker. I can at least understand why Republicans support Moon (the $3 billion Moon dumped into the Times has been a de facto contribution to the RNC). Why are Democrats giving Moon legitimacy?

One Quick thing: I know many people are not familiar with Moon. I havehttp://realsunmyungmoon.blogspot.com/2008/04/worlds-most-powerful-cult.html">a short YouTube primer on Moon as well as a blog devoted to the subject.

4. If Charles Manson had billions to give away, politicians from both parties
would swim through a vat of sewage and step on each other to get into his good graces. They might not want any photo ops, but they sure loves them some "campaign contributions" and there little they won't do to get some.

6. Also this should be brought up by Maddow and KO. There should be definite
national security issues here. He should be banned and an investigation into payoffs and any monies leading to him.

He seems to be a Moonie groupie.

Or are the Moonies going for their Big Grease Gun: Rush 'Anal-Pimple-Military Deferment' Limbaugh, the celebrate Republicon FAIL leader?
