Head of U.S. nuke transport group gets DUI
Published: March 3, 2009 at 10:08 AM

ALBUQUERQUE, March 3 (UPI) -- Officials say a drunken-driving arrest prompted them to reassign the head of the U.S. agency that transports nuclear weapons around the country.

Craig Tucker, 49, Tijeras, N.M., was reassigned after he was arrested by Bernalillo County sheriff's deputies while parked on a rural New Mexico highway in late January, The Santa Fe (N.M.) New Mexican said Tuesday.

The arresting officers said breath blood-alcohol tests indicated an alcohol level of 0.15 percent, nearly twice the legal limit in New Mexico. The officers said Tucker admitted to having consumed a beer and a sleeping pill.

Tucker is the head of the Office of Secure Transportation but has been reassigned to other classified duties within in the National Nuclear Safety Administration. A spokesman told the New Mexican Tucker could lose his job if he is convicted.

1. I've had DUI's - not any for 12 years now, 1 beer that's it - 2? - I'm staying or cabbing it home
.
.
.

Concern is

I rarely got busted for that high of a level

So how many times was he impaired/hung over on the job?

makes one wonder

was that guy involved in the FUBAR operation of moving nukes across the USA -

and losing one?

what ever happened to that discrepancy anyways

six left

5 arrived

or is that all debunked/covered-up now?
