We need a grand jury of randomly chosen state career prosecutors to investigate BushCo.

Politicians are liars, and I suspect both sides have something to hide in this matter, but the DOJ has been tainted by the US Attorney's scandal. Even the career prosecutors.

A truth commission will end up like the 9/11 commission. Obama firing all the Bush career people and bringing untainted ones will look bad, and leaving the old ones will make it look bad in favor of Bush.

The only solution, it seems to me, is to create a special grand jury of career prosecutors from the state level. Unlike a normal grand jury, their proceedings would be public. They would then investigate all claims and crimes relating to this matter. At the end, they would prosecute any people found to have committed crimes.

Each state would contribute two career non-political prosecutors to the grand jury, if that's not possible, there would be a person from either major national party put forward, though that should be a measure of last resort.

thing went down, but I do recall when it came to Walsh and the prosecution the scope of the investigation was very narrow. I guess that's something to keep in mind.
