It's a real shame that Bobby Jindal's horrible speech took President Obama's
out of the news because Obama's speech was incredible. Instead of talking about how great his speech was, all people are talking about is Bobby Jindal and Rush Limbaugh. Granted, the GOP is looking less cohesive and more shrill by the minute, but I really wanted to luxuriate in the warm ambience of Obama's speech and it's all but been forgotten in the fray that Jindal's pitiful speech caused, followed up by Rush Limbaugh shenanigans. I'm just saying...

3. Thank heavens for YouTube!
And Obama has given so many worthy ones, it would be hard to figure out which was the best.

5. Yes, there were as many if not more posts here about Jindal as there were for Obama
with most of them saying the same things over and over. Even now on the front page here for a few days we have seen posters go on and on about Rushbo, again, hardly saying anything different from one post to another and again, sometimes more posts about Rush than Obama. DU certainly needs to be obsessed with something or someone. It would be nice to see the same kind of obsession about our President for a change.

6. Spoilage is the only role the GOP can play nowdays.
Not that they didn't spoil everything when they were in charge, too.
