We're lucky to have the Obamas help take on the mess we've made.

I hope the media approves of its color! :sarcasm:

In reality, our First Lady is energetic and busy...
and seems to be concentrating on what she can do
to make all of our lives just a bit better.

Kudos to her, and Kudos to our President
for having the good grace of falling in love
with a true gem.

54. You are so right
The media unveiled the scandalous news that Michelle often wears sleeveless dresses! Although I have seen her showing arm, as a guy I did not know this was such a newsworthy topic until the MSM told me so.

Our news readers are a bunch of dipsticks.

The best kind of leadership there is -- inspiration.

Hopefully, this will give a lot of people the urge to similarly volunteer where help is needed, or to donate if physically helping is not an option.

Almost everybody has a cell phone anymore. Even if they don’t have running water, they may have a cell phone. There are very inexpensive ones out there too. Plus he can still use his camera even if he doesn't have service. However, the Reich has been known to extrapolate and exaggerate at will so I won’t be surprised if we see that attack you predict.

13. Rush will probably snark that she' s right where she should be
a cafeteria worker. I remember how he used to make fun of Jerry Brown sleeping at a shelter when he visited D.C. Rush made a big deal about sitting down to his excellent food and wine, followed by an expensive cigar...

I hope he does spew crap about her at the soup kitchen. Let more people hear his hate and see how it sits with them. If they have any humanity they'll feel ashamed of themselves...

and Pickles couldn't get her fat ass off the loveseat where she lounged in her Xanax haze to set foot outside the White House even to go have lunch with friends at a local restaurant.

Serve food to the homeless?

God forbid!

43. Good point
I think she had a Xanax supply that we mere mortals can only envy.

Look, she's as bad as he is, as far as I'm concerned. She reaps the benefit, and, as a First Lady, she was worse than a total dud. Michelle Obama is putting Pickles to shame, and if I didn't know better, I hope she's reading the incredibly positive and admiring coverage our First Lady is getting. I hope it cuts her to her core - if she has one - with every word.

The comparison, in just a few short weeks, is still so jarring for me. It's like having been blind, and suddenly your sight is restored. And the sun is shining....................

16. I love the way she's goofing for that cellphone pic
We know she's able to be totally gracious and glamorous when it's for Vogue -- but she can also mug like a 16 year old when that's what the photographer will appreciate. And that's wonderful.

Michelle seems to have the rare ability to know how to connect with people of every sort. Whether it's hugs for the 5 year olds, praise for the federal bureaucrats, or an easy, comfortable "broccoli or potatoes" dialogue with the patrons of Miriam's Kitchen, she never looks down on anyone and knows how to make everybody feel valued.

It's also good that she's teaching this to her daughters. Remember when the whole family was handing out turkey at Thanksgiving?
