NBC Nightly News is doing a good story.
They are showing a women in Cleveland who was laid off from DHL after 19 years. The theme of the report is how that one layoff affects so many others -- her car repair shop, the beauty shop, the dentist, the local restaurant. She can't afford to fix a slow leak in a tire, to get her hair colored, to have a regular dental appointment, to eat out. The reporter is Jeff Rossen.

This is a good story for the politically-uneducated and -undereducated. It shows that even if you still have your job and you don't have stocks, you are going to be affected by the economic problems. Thumbs up, NBC!

1. NBC Miami has also been doing some good stories
It's the fugging cable shows that perpetuate the 'unreality'.
