Richard Wolfe, the political analyst on 'Countdown'. What do you think of him?

I get readings on my BS detector but it doesn't sense "serious tool". There's something about him that doesn't jibe.

Am I missing something?

1. He's done almost a 180 (maybe a 170) in the past couple years

When he first started appearing on KO he was pretty much a bush kissass. He's now come around to the point where he regularly trashes the bush admin and the repubs in general.

Maybe that's what he thought he had to do to keep getting hired to appear.

He's very sly, very tongue in cheek, very British. That might be what's putting you off with him. But he's smart, very well-informed, very insightful. I think he's the best of all the regulars who appear with KO.

I've spent much of my adult life around Washington pols. lawyers, and journalists, and this guy is top-drawer.

He was funny and very self deprecating.
Randi of course was all over him, she was trying to fix up one of her girlfriends with him, they got along famously, and I remember several laugh out loud moments.

He was a good egg one could say.
I'm thinking he wouldn't be on KO every damn night he if wasn't on the same page.
Maybe he just likes the cash, I really don't care.
As long as he's making our side look good, I could give a shit.
And he most always makes me think he's enjoying commenting on all of this craziness every night.
Even if he doesn't look like it.
