Republican Wamp tries to claim Pres. Obama is creating class warfare
This clip shows you how desperate the Republicans are to try and stay relevant.

This is the mentality of a dying breed of regressive thinking.

1. Class warfare? That's one war I'd be happy to enlist for.
Where is the nearest recruiting station?

2. Uh, no. He's STOPPING the class warfare...
That has plagued this great nation for far too long.

I just don't get what some people don't get about fair and equal.

4. The class war has been raging for a long time; the rich have been winning

Obama is just trying to even the battlefield a little bit.

If you view the video you will notice how after he (Wamp) claims Obama is creating class warfare, he then goes on to say healthcare is a privilege.

Humm, that sounds more like class warfare. I'm surprised he didn't just say that healthcare is for wealthy white folks!

Another Republican tool bag who is trying to use the "SOCIALISM" scare tactic.

10. Wamp is a douche
I hope that more people in Tennessee are sensible like yourself. This guy Wamp has a mentality that it is 1950 all over again. He throws "socialist" out as if he was a part of McCarthyism searching for the communists! If he got elected governor I would pack my bags and move as fast as possible

14. Welcome to DU, freedomm_to_think!!
Wamp got where he is today on a high school diploma, and I'm not one to usually haggle about degrees, be they advanced or otherwise, but he's never proven himself to ever be a 'big picture thinker', and he's never valued education...wonder why?!!?

When he first ran against Marilyn Lloyd, no liberal herself, he was trying to dig up dirt on her, and he shut up very quickly when the opposition revealed that he had a history of bad check writing, and a coke habit. Then he found Jeebus, and the numbskulls in the 3rd district, who would crucify me for lesser or the same, looked the other way and still do.

During his first run, he also mentioned that he would vote in the interests of big business and I can't figure out why some of the local unions give him money. The reason is, 'he's a hometown boy'. A 'hometown boy' who is gonna vote to screw you over??

Hurdles, hurdles, we climb here I tell ya.

11. Now I Was Told It Wasn't "Class Warfare"
Ot at least that was the GOOP mantra when they were in power. If you didn't like what they were doing...their distribution of the wealth to the rich, then you were "unpatriotic". Greed is good ya know...its what makes a rushpublican and their "entitlement".

It's always been class warfare and the middle class is pissed. That's why it rejected the rushpublicans in November. Wamp claiming healthcare is a privilidge is nothing to be surprised at...it's been the GOOP mantra since the Medicare battles of the 60's. The GOOP believes in being the "privilidged"...and now that they're having to pay for their greed and arrogance.

13. You Puke assholes created this class war. These fuckers are destroying Western Civlization.
Edited on Sat Mar-07-09 11:53 AM by Odin2005
A recurring theme throughout history is the destruction of civilizations' social fabrics as a result of class war and militarism started by the elites. The old aristocratic families of Athens, for example, openly aided the Spartans in the Peloponnesian War because they wanted Athens's democratic government overthrown. An example of relevant to us is the Roman reformer Tiberius Gracchus, who was murdered by Senate-backed thugs when he tried to push through land reform legislation.

After all, we've got the tools and the talent to fight back now, so now you want a time out. Tough noogies, pal. Better hug your overrich friends real tight. We're coming for them.
