Whenever Limbaugh Gets The National Spotlight, He Blows It

Give him a lead role and he buries himself in the part.

He doesn't have the ability to move out of the shadows thrown by the dittoheads (sort of like a cockroach). He's like the kid who gets a speeding ticket every time he's trusted with the car. He's like the jerk at the office who made life miserable for everybody else the one day the boss put him in charge. He can't perform under pressure, which is why he can't have live guests in his studio and has all of his calls screened like crazy.

He's a putz. Throwing a national spotlight on him is the worst thing that could happen to him.

Forgetting his forgettable speech at CPAC, what struck me as really odd was his physical mannerisms. Jumping up and down with that strange look in his eyes and the weird arm flailing..I guess he was trying to get some excitement generated, but it looked like quite pathetic. Take away the microphone and he's really just another putz.

things he says that would be unpopular with the majority of the country. He appeals to a radical hate fringe.

When he has a national spotlight, he turns people against him in minutes-- but that's *why* his supporters love him. Any of his fans would turn the country against themselves in minutes as well, were they to be given a national voice.
