A thousand drops- all prop 8 supporters should have to read
This article in tomorrow's NY TImes magazine.

A Thousand Drops

After Brian has brushed his teeth, after he has swallowed a fistful of pills, after he has injected Neupogen into the fraction of fat he can pinch from his belly, he dons a pair of pajamas and says, “I’m ready to get plugged in.” He means he’s ready for me to connect him to the Flo-Gard, a small computerized machine that’s clamped onto the IV pole beside our bed. Every night for eight hours, a rich, synthetic liquid called total parenteral nutrition is infused into his bloodstream, fattening every cell. Or so we keep hoping. Brian developed a resistance to antiretroviral medication after volunteering for drug trials in the 1980s, and now infusions are the last treatment left to slow his rapid weight loss from AIDS.

If this is not about the "sanctity of marriage" I don't know what is.

1. I think same sex marriage has taught me more about the sanctity
of all marriages than 55 years of church attendance, parochial school, catholic high school and various courses!
