1. Rejoice Kansas. Your neighbor to the north has winter storm warnings today.
We're expecting an ice storm. As one who is thoroughly familiar with tornadoes - they can't get you all - ice does, and I'm sick of the cold. I'd rather roll the dice on some twisters at the moment. Then again, that's probably just the cabin fever talking.

7. We are in Garden City for a dog show
So far it's all east of us and I hope it stays that way. The shows end tomorrow and i will be glad to go home.

8. Snow in the Seattle area
1 - 5 inches. One of the reasons I moved up here is because this area doesn't get snow, except now it does. We have no infrastructure in place for snow but we've had a half dozen snowstorms each winter for the last three years.

21. daughter is at work at Micky D's I called her...they are still working
said even if a tornado was hovering above their store, they would still be working because of the boss they have



I figured they would be in the walk in


they might before it is all over

it is not really in our city yet, just the county
