If oil were up the profit woulf justify drilling for more expensive oil here in North America. But oil is down there isn't a profit in certain drilling. Good "Ole T. Boone" wants the tax payers to make up the difference and his argument, "Dem der Arabs is gettin' money. You gotta give us them taxdollars or they gonna git more of ourin money." I don't think there is enough racism in the Congress or the American population to pay the difference in order to buy expensive North American oil and gas as opposed to cheap foreign oil.




Pickens also delivered the latest statistics of the "Pickens Monthly Oil Report" during the interview. The U.S. imported 62% of the oil it consumed during the month of February. The imported oil amounted to $13 billion in cash that the U.S. sent to its foreign oil suppliers, Pickens said.

If you remember the "Financial Melt Down" was selling our Debt to foriegn countries because that is all we have left to export
