Why am I stuck here in the twilight zone...again?

When millions lose their homes, I ask why? When millions lose their jobs (like myself) through no fault of their own, I ask why? When millions and millions go without health insurance, I ask why? When millions are going hungry, I ask why?

When trillions of dollars in bailouts goes to benefit the rich elite upper class of criminals that lost Wall Street Casino Money while raping the millions that have lost their homes, have no jobs, have no health insurance, have families without food it makes me shout and I have to ask what the f*** is going on here that we take care of criminals but screw over our own American brothers and sisters? How rich did I have to be to get the help that they got for being failures and losers at their jobs? Am I supposed to be the example that always proves "NICE GUYS ALWAYS FINISH LAST!" What the hell is going on in America that these people are not in prison for the largest theft of money in this countries history???

So as one can see, the money from us is going overseas to bail out foreign banks as well. We are saving other countries failed companies and banks that bought risks that they were lied to about, and yet we are allowing Americans to go homeless that were sold these bad mortgages, we are losing our jobs because they have ruined this economy and yet they keep their jobs and the large salaries and bonuses that go with them and we are still without a plan to help us because the rich are fighting the stimulus meant to help the poor and middle class? What the hell is wrong with America that a small minority of rich media owning pricks get to control our government? What do we have to do to start a revolution here? It seems to me that one can rape and pilage if it's for money and not go to jail but if I take a rifle into wall street to arrest people I would certainly be in jail that very minute!! Bernie Madoff stole 50 billion dollars and he gets to live in his penthouse home.

Where is the JUSTICE our founding fathers spoke of? Where is it being proven to me that all Men are created equal because I am not seeing it here. Where does it show me today that WE THE PEOPLE are getting helped by our country, when it feels and looks more like "We the select few and very rich are the people in control". I want someones head on a plate for this fiasco, I want accountability, I want justice for those responsible for ruining this country and the economy. I want guilty Democrats and Republicans alike shown on TV being disciplined and put in jail for why we are where we are today. I would like them in old fashioned stockades in front of our capital where the homeless can march by, pick a tomato out of a basket nearby and throw it at their heads while they await sentencing and life long jail time. We need punishments for the failures of our country, without that we are not America anymore. We are not a Democracy if it is "We the People" that are owned by corporations and the rich elite that throws us out into the cold on our asses when they screw up the world. We should now be getting the mansions and cars of every one of these failures. We should be able to spend the weekend in the NY apartment of Bernie Madoff, FOR FREE! That person should be in jail for his 50 billion dollar ripoff. Same with the Stanford billionaire, in Jail! Failed companies shoudl be owned by US, as in We the People.

Is this too much to ask for? Justice? Accountability? Why isn't anyone from the Bush administration in jail yet for war crimes? Why is Karl Rove walking the earth free? If he was caught with coke he'd be in jail, but be an accomplice in murder of civilians in Iraq and you can walk around free? Have US attorneys fired for being Democrats and you can walk around free, have marijuana on your person and go to jail? Why does none of this make any sense any more?

Nice rant Bluepatriot21, let's hope the Obama administration realizes (ad soon) that there can be no faith in the system until the thugs that got us into this mess, including some he uses as advisors, Robert Rubin comes to mind, are made an example of , and those guilty of crimes, regardless of their stature, are forced to face the same justice as everyone else. Restoring rule of law means everyone is treated the same-not special treatment for elitists.
