Siegelman attorney: If necessary we will appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court

Vince Kilbourne, Siegelman's attorney, reacted to the decision.

"It's a partial victory no doubt, but the problem is we don't intend for him to go to trial at all. We think he's innocent," said Kilbourne.

Siegleman's attorney says they will ask the full circuit court to review the case.

If necessary they will appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court.

If Siegelman has a re-sentencing hearing, his attorneys will ask the judge to sentence him to no further time in jail.

1. I would love to see more Democrats take on this issue.
It's like they have distanced themselves from it. I guess because Karl Rove has been so elusive.

Maybe the Democrats can serve Karl Rove another summons as he is honored by Leon Panetta's Institute
