"The news that even Alan Greenspan and Senator Chris Dodd suggest that bank nationalization may be necessary shows how desperate the situation has become. It has been obvious for some time that a government takeover of our banking system--perhaps along the lines of what Norway and Sweden did in the '90s--is the only solution. It should be done, and done quickly, before even more bailout money is wasted....

This would make a lot more sense to me if it wasn't Greenspan.
I don't know what the catch is, other than I'm sure there is one.

Deregulation led ALL the banks down a very dangerous path of "Unsecured Lending"

2. Greenspan - why doesn't he just shut up and go retire on an Florida island.

Is it the full moon. All day long, I have been furious over actions making the news.

I'm open about nationalization. I just don't want to hear Greenspan's name or hear him speak.

Federal Reserve - not a friend of the little people.

You're rich Alan - enjoy it out of the limelight. You're not needed to clean up the mess you made.
