Cramer on the Today show this morning... responded to Jon Stewart.
Oh, well, Jon Stewart is just a comedian. What does he know. He sidestepped the question about bear stearns. He did tell folks NOT to sell their bear stearns stocks, if I am not mistaken. But he didn't say to buy. And he regrets telling anyone to buy any stocks. and he regrets the state of the economy today also. So, there's that. He said that he could find clips to make warren buffet look like a fool, too. So I guess there is no reason to think that Cramer doesn't know what he's talking about with the stocks then. hmm. because stewart is nothing more than a comedian.

22. The FU was to Kramer, I thought, just like last week's FU was to Allen Stanford
I rarely stand up and cheer in front of the TV but this was an exception. FU Kramer.

when he is dead wrong over and over its not his fault.

they are all bullshit artists. its their job to talk their shit, pretend they are experts, get ratings, fill time on the network.

6. I wrote Morning Joe in the middle of that appearance
"Oh for heaven's sake. Let's not pretend that Cramer's mistakes were small little slips of the tongue. He allegedly researches, goes on the air, and offers his advice. So when he tells people to buy X or Y and it completely collapses--and other people saw it coming--it's not Jon Stewart picking nits. If you're willing to cash that check and take credit, you also need to stop saying people need to "lighten up" when you screw up."

8. He's Just Opened Up A Can Of Whoop Ass...
The more this asshat shows up on the teevee, the bigger fool he makes of himself and his greedy network. Parse all he wants to, but Stewart not only nailed him once, but put in it with a sledge hammer last night. As the saying goes, you can believe him or your lying eyes. Obviously Mr. Cramer hasn't heard of Youtube and how quickly his lies will be exposed not only to those who watched last night, but millions of others. And he's gonna try to spin this away?

So he wants to minimalize Stewart just as a "comedian". Stewart not only will agree, but is proud of it. Cramer, on the other hand, claims that he has a 30 year record of being a successful investor and he comes off as a comedian. Now whose got the credibility problem here?

People would support Cramer is his lies weren't so blatant to anyone who turns on that whorehouse network he is employed by. It's bad enough that it's one of the largest corporates that reports on its own...absolutely no accountablity. But then there's also all the under-the-table games that went on that he nor anyone else at that network want to discuss. Their dirty secret is how this network benfitted handsomely from being a Wall Street cheerleader and conning its viewers to throw money in a market that had become nothing more than a gambling casino. Those "experts" they interview? The best money those "experts" ever spent.

So let Cramer try to get into a pissing match with Stewart...Jon's just tapping the tape archives on the lies and games Cramer and his ilk have played...how wrong they were so may times on the economy. Even better, let's see if that chickenshit would dare to go on TDS and try to spin there. He'd get laughed off the set. So whose the real "comedian" here?

14. i don't think cramer realizes what he's doing. the more he goes on
trying to dismiss stewart as just a comedian, and the more he tries to spin, the worse he is making it for himself. stewart will just skewer him more. and jon stewart isn't attempting to pass himself off as real news. cramer doesn't realize that he has stepped on quicksand and the more he fights it, the more he is going to sink into it.

13. Wanna Bet This Story Is Ignored By MSNBC...
I've been waiting to hear Keith or Rachel try to scale this mountain. No way, no how. One doesn't bite the hand that feeds them. This story is too close to home. Their silence is deafening...especially Olbermann's. Had this happened on Faux, it'd be his top story...Cramer...not so much.

BTW...love that picture of the Chicago River...reminds me of many pleasant boat rides on warm summer nights.

Cheers...

20. It's In The Staging...
Looks like Joey's giving him a nice whitewashing. I'm sure he'll also show up on other friendly shows where he can joke and spin and everyone laughs and it's all sweetness and light. Stewart ends up looking like the bully.

Let's see Cramer step out of the GE bubble...either go on TDS or, even better, volunteer to assist Michael Moore in producing a movie to expose all the fraud that led to this fiasco.

I'm not watching either...Washington Journal on here...Chicago teevee in the morning sucks eggs.

Amidst all the doom and gloom, they manage to find hysterical stuff to share. Hard hitting news it ain't, but I can't pass up the laughter their show provides. :P

hahaha I knew there would be
a weak and ineffectual damage control attempt by these guys. Face it CNBC, Stewart kicked your ass and there's literally no recourse. The brilliance of Stewart's volley across their balsa wood bow is that it was unassailable. We can see that now with the way their braintrust just flails about.

18. US Economy..The "Reality" Show
That's the "problem".. People LIKE Cramer..ALL of them, should go back to doing what they USED to do.. They sat in offices, and pored over spreadsheets & graphs.. they made phone calls and they did whatever they did..

When some media assholes thought it was a GOOD idea to turn it all into Invest-a-palooza/infomercials 24-7, and used QVC as their model, they started down a dangerous path..

These idiots make BIG BUCKS for being PERFORMERS..

Investing..serious investing is NOT A GAME..

MILLIONS of people have REAL money..money they EARNED, taken from their paychecks EVERY week...FOR DECADES.. This is money the can only earn ONCE..and after a 35-40 year career, there's no going back to try something different..

We are no longer talking about investing in your friend's company because you can see a real opportunity, or putting a small amount every week into blue-chip companies that have been here forever.. The blue-chippers are little more now, than legalized ponzi schemes, buying & selling eavh other and themselves, and accepting more and more debt, as the ones at the top skim off the cream for themselves, and leave the sour milk to be traded like trimmed baseball cards, to unsuspecting "investors"..

27. Scarborough nailed Stewart for not making fun of Obama...
...then when he goes to commercial, they play a clip from the Daily Show showing Stewart making fun of Obama for his gift to Brown.

If anything, it's obvious Scarborough doesn't watch Stewart. Stewart has made fun of Obama plenty.

The difference between Stewart and Cramer is that one is a comedian while the other one is a joke.
