Meanwhile back at the stress tests
I think Krugman puts forth what the Government is planning on. Putting the big banks under Government control just like the FDIC putting small banks under temporary receivership.

These stress tests are probably yielding unimaginable shenanigans

1. Yep, which is why Geithner/Obama haven't acted on a plan quite yet.
Gotta diagnose the problem before prescribing a solution.

5. I wish they made these tests transparent.
I bet they know a whole lot more than shareholders do, which is completely unfair and is not the way capitalism is supposed to work.

An investor should be able to completely know about the company they own. Hiding things on the books should be fraud.
