Poll: 8% Blame Obama For the Recession

The most recent NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll had a telling question about who to blame for the economic crisis:

“When you think about the current economic conditions, do you feel that this is a situation that Barack Obama has inherited or is this a situation his policies are mostly responsible for?”

Inherited: 84 percent
Responsible for: 8 percent

“And how much time would you say that Barack Obama has before his policies are mostly responsible for the country’s economic conditions?” (ASKED ONLY OF RESPONDENTS WHO SAID IT WAS INHERITED)

Responsible in less than six months 2 percent
Responsible in six months to one year 13 percent
Responsible in one to two years 25 percent
Responsible in two to three years 18 percent
Responsible in more than three years 23 percent
Not sure when responsible 3 percent

The Good News: Our opposition has been marginalized to 8% delusional fools.

Democrats have let themselves be intimidated and bamboozled by these 8% on a whole array of issues. That's the size of Rush's audience. He's an idiot, as Obama is showing. His audience are idiots, which WE need to figure out so we'll stop paying attention to them.

9. On That I Couldn't Agree More

It seems that time and time again in the past the majority Democratic Party has wanted to capitulate to the demands of the loony-bin radicals of the right. 8% sounds about right when considering the "vastness" of the opposition. Turn the conversation from economics to war, however, and the faux patriots will add another 15-20% to that figure.

Honestly, if the majority GOP in Congress and * paid no heed to the Democrats from 2000-2006, why in the world should we acquiesce to the demands of the 8%?
