Give Paul Krugman one hour, Mr. President

I won’t even try denying it. When compared to the brainy insider types, people like Lawrence Summers and Timothy Geithner, who are running Barack Obama’s economic policy — and let us all stand with our mouths appropriately agape in awe and wonder at the very mention of their names — those of us supporting disreputable (and socialistic!) things like growing the stimulus package and nationalizing failing banks are a fairly motley bunch. Who can blame Obama for wanting to keep us at arm’s length?

1. Obama reads Krugman's columns. Krugman is a columnist. He has a blog but he is mainly a columnist
and Obama reads it.

I'm sorry your feelings got hurt. Stop acting like he personally called you trash.

3. He reads the NYT and says he especially reads the columns that disagree with him.
He has brought up Krugman himself by name.

Paul Krugman has done extensive work in international economics, including work on international trade, economic geography, and international finance. According to the Research Papers in Economics project. Krugman's International Economics: Theory and Policy, co-authored with Maurice Obstfeld is a standard introductory textbook on international economics. He also writes on economic topics for the general public, sometimes on international economic topics but also on income distribution and public policy.

Paul Krugman a professor of economics and international affairs at Princeton University, a centenary professor at the London School of Economics...

Who the fuck are the clowns working with the banks, bailouts and on our economy? The fuckers (Lawrence Summers and Timothy Geithner) used to work for Goldman Sachs and other corporate banks?
