Why isn't he on vacation golfing and stuff? Gee, all work and no play makes Barack a dull boy. Where is that liberal laziness we keep hearing about?

Why is he in such a hurry to accomplish anything?

:sarcasm:

1. Yeah, I hate people who can effortlessly multi-task!
If I had known Obama could do more than one thing at a time, I would never have voted for him! ;)

2. I love this man. He has a true work ethic, not the FAKE work ethic of the Repugnicans
... where all they move is their mouth to spew bs and lies, their throat as they swallow gourmet food paid by lobbyists, and their butt cheeks as they seek to balance themselves on their chairs in front of their giant TVs.

3. Oh good Lord. Look at the mess he has to clean up.
I get your gist, actually, but still doesn't he have his plate full cleaning up the mess GWB left the place in? :wow:

5. How about the GOP whining that he's trying to get too much done?
Gawd, he should slow down... and not read so many newspapers with big words and stuff.:sarcasm:

9. Plus they probably hate the fact that they have to work because he works
unlike GWB who took eight vacations a year that were a month long each time. I still wish I had never heard the phrase, "White House West." That always really rubbed me the wrong way.

Obama will do a fine job... if they'll let him. They really don't like to work at all. I hope he can successfully lay down the law with them and make them cooperate while he does what needs to be done to save our country.

7. Lol but if he wasn't working as hard you would hear..............
"Why is'nt Obama working harder to solve this economic crisis?"

or

"This is an economic emergency and yet Obama decides to slack off, look at him not working that hard to solve this crisis!"

It would be something along those lines, he's screwed either way. If he works too hard they bitch, if he doesn't work hard enough they will bitch, it's a real catch 22.

11. I think I'll go back and reread some of my FDR books.
I do remember reading about a joke making the rounds about FDR turning out one law after another in dizzying progression: Calling to his secretary, Missy LeHand, he'd yell, "Missy! Come in here and take a law."

I've been wondering if FDR received the same dumb criticism from the Republicans that President Obama is receiving right now.

12. He received plenty of criticism. Lots of Republicans today can barely utter his name.
Most of his legislation related directly to the economic problem, so the criticism mostly went to complaints about alleged socialism, federal government interference and cost. Not that Obama hasn't heard those, too.
