Where will the markets finish after Tuesday's rally. It was the largest rally in 2009.

1. I believe they'll slide along sideways for a day or two, then maybe the rally will continue...
... for a short time, but in the long run this is just another bear market rally and the indices are nowhere near bottom yet.

2. They'll rally on phony data for a bit, then go back on the slide and resume track.
Enjoy the break. It could be days or months. Who knows? It's irrelevant unless you're trying to time the market.

I fear for my State's pension plan which is projected to fall into deficit rather soon unless the assets in it are valued higher.


I guess I am a child of the Clinton years where a reason-based higher stock market was good for all; capital gains & pension & retirement plan reserve solvency.
