1. That's a constant with them.......They've been saying we're almost at the bottom for a year.
Las idiotas, indeed.

2. By "us", I assume they mean the folks on Wall Street....?
and the stock market?

What about "us"? The poor suckers who have lost their jobs, their pensions, their homes, their healthcare? Is the worse behind us also? Or is Wall Street supposed to be representative of America??

5. on MSNBC this morning
Mark Haines from CNBC said, literally "The economy still stinks, but the market looks FANTASTIC!". That's all that matters to these people, I guess.

8. They are shameless punks...
I am nearly overwhelmed with disgust at both CNBC and MSNBC.

These networks have grown increasingly shameless.

They are no longer hiding the fact that they exist as a sales and marketing
division of Wall Street. It's all a PR operation--designed to sell the
American people a load of bullshit.

When the market goes up slightly (or up a lot, as we saw yesterday), they report
that our crisis is done and we can all party hearty. When the market is down---
it's a massive buying opportunity--and you'd better get in now or you'll lose out!

It's...absolutely...revolting. These people don't know what they're talking about.

Both networks are continuous infomercials. Instead of selling Snuggies, they're
helping to enrich their corporatist friends, by bilking money out of the American
people.
