Poll question: In the next 4 or 8 years, will the Bushiganda wear the American People down
Edited on Thu Mar-12-09 12:46 PM by tom_paine
We've all seen how it works.

Bushies, or Rushpublics or whatever you want to call the degenerated authoritarian shell that was once the Republican Party, live in their own False Reality Bubble.

I maintain, it is the most seamless and sophisticated propaganda machine ever created in human history, and the most successful. There are probably many aspects to this, not the least of which is corporitization, parasitization, and neutralization of much of the journalistic profession, replaced by authoritarian punidtocracy and Cable TV Shoutfests.

For the purposes of this poll, let us not dwell on the ever-more pathetic, but ever more necessary even as they degenerate, M$M, but the Bushiganda that drives our National Discussion.

Let us talk about the media saturation that is the delivery system for this nuclear bomb of the mind that has laid waste our nation, now nearly as comical and detached from reality as the KKK was in the 70s.

As anyone knows who has ever tried to speak to an Hannidiot, Savage Weiner, Dittohead, et al., knows it is exactly like trying to speak to a cult or KKK member, yet no cult or KKK member ever had not just the reinforcing group of millions, but most of the M$M sharing their delusion, as well.

They wear you down. Indefatigable, zealous, and unreachable by any reason that comes from outside the In-Group, 30,000,000 or so in this nation (roughly 10,000,000 hardcore Stormtroopers and 20,000,000 "Good Germans").

During Clinton, we saw the pattern. "Clinton Fatigue", it is now obvious, was a deliberately cultivated psychological condition that they themselves brought on with their Bushiganda assualts, which almost everyone, including me, was clueless to how pervasive, totalitarian and yes just plain evil their plans were.

As happens so often in history, the Crazies wore down the American People and most threw up their hands in disgust and many went along with the "new" Bushiganda False Reality, and kept right on with it. The 2000 "election" was made close enough to steal, and stolen it was. Mission Accomplished for Bushie Tyranny and Authoritarian Totalitarianism over Liberty and Old America.

It is already quite clear they are pursuing this same strategy, and the M$M, while slightly better, is still pushing Bushiganda as the starting point of every topic and catapulting the Bushiganda at every turn.

My question is, WILL IT WORK THIS TIME?

Like the Age of Clinton, will all the cacophony of Bushiganda primate-shrieking and poop-throwing work again, over time, as more people get re-enveloped in the most powerful, subtle, seamless False Reality EVER constructed for the human mind, get worn down and just give in to Goebbels v2.0?

NOTE: I am not comparing Obama and Bill Clinton in ANY way other than noting that they are basically being atacked by the same Bushiganda False Reality Generator and Lie Laundry, so the question is about how the great mass of Americans will react over time, not about Clinton or Obama themselves.

1. It won't work: newer, more diverse elecorate
Plus we have seen the effects of 8 years of almost unfettered conservative rule.

2. I know. If mere politics and elections is the battlefield, then we are winning.
That is my ultimate concern, that the Bushies ae well beyond playing on THAT field, other than cosmetically.

Look at Chas Freeman - classic Bushiganda Smear and Destroy Op. It worked as well as it always seems to work, no change there.

Rove gets a deal to testify BEHIND CLOSED DOORS.

If politics was the battlefield, these things would make no sense. But if Bushiganda and RAW POWER was at work here, then it makes sense.

Obama is doing his best, and he is doing a damned fine job. But at key points, he seems to be yielding to the Hand of Caesar, so to speak.

And the Hand of Caesar is now busy riling up 30,000,000 Stormtroopers and Good Germans to frothy levels of crazy, if I am correct, to use the threat of violece as a check on Obama "going to far".

I hope my assessment is wrong, and your correct.

But I see what I see.

4. It almost certainly will
Political cycles are a fact of life.

1. Your party is hungry, you hone your message, you backburner controversial issues, you put popular issues front and center
2. You win political power
3. You get less hungry, your message gets weaker, you bring forward controversial issues, you stumble on your popular issues.
4. You lose political power

Right now Republicans are at step four but they haven't yet moved back up to step one. After eight years of telling themselves they were a permanent majority and that the country was deeply conservative they are still in denial. They won't stay there. Weak and stupid Republicans will slowly be shuffled out and more aggressive and palatable conservatives will rise through a process of semi natural selection.

Same thing happens on our side - in 2000 a lot of us (including myself) felt comfortable voting for Nader over Gore. That position looked a lot stupider as time went on and we get humbled.

5. As I said, I think this may be about more than simple politics.
It may be about much more than what we see going on, on the surface.

After all, in ancient Rime, the Senate met, deliberated, passed laws, etc., and it all looked normal to the "Roman Cable TV" of the time.

Of course, history shows that what was going on in the comic dumbshow of the Imperial Senate had almost nothing to do with the actual machinations that were producing and passing the legislation.

That is the danger and THAT is the REAL question, and has been ever since Bushler seized control of the nation in a judicial coup, using almost the exact blueprint Ed Luttwak laid out in the 60s for use against foreign nations.

www.amazon.com/Coup-dÉtat-Practical-Edward-Luttwak/dp/0674175476

If the Bushies never go to your Step #1, instead continuing to, what onthe surface appears to marginalize and isolate them in the uber-crazy realms, becomes something entirely different in Luttwak's context.

Not that I think they'll try to coup Obama, though they may kill him (God Forbid), because pretending to obey elections etc., is pretty much the only cover the Bushies have left of their true authoritarian tyrant's face.

That...and the greatest propaganada machine in human history combined with the highest level of media saturation in human history as delivery system.
