The Masterminds: "Terrorists to the Bone"
*** NOT FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE ***
*** CLASSIFICATION: RUBY ***

DOD Records is pleased to offer you a TS-SCI first look at the lyrics for the hotly anticipated first single from what would be the debut album of the century if it ever dropped, Singing Like Canaries!, by the 9/11 Masterminds:

Terrorists to the Bone
(Binalshibh/Mohammed/Zubaydah/Ledeen)

On the day I was born, Imams all gathered 'round
And they gazed in wide wonder, at the sight they had found
"Insha'Allah," they were thinking, "We'll leave this one alone."
They could tell right away, I was jihad' to the bone
Jihadi to the bone
Jihadi to the bone
J-J-Jihad' to the bone
J-J-J-Jihad'
J-J-J-Jihad'
Jihadi to the bone

I killed Oswald, Franz Ferdinand, and planned the Reichstag fire, too.
I'll kill zillions more, Your Honor, before this song's even through
Lā ilāha illallāh, there is one God alone,
And 'cause Muhammad's his phrophet, I'm jihadi to the bone
Jihadi to the bone
J-J-Jihad' to the bone
J-J-J-Jihad'
J-J-J-Jihad'
Jihadi to the bone

I control all the networks, I control Alex Jones,
I can rig your elections, and hack into your phones,
Lā ilāha illallāh, there is one God alone,
And 'cause Muhammad's his phrophet, I'm jihadi to the bone
Jihadi to the bone
J-J-Jihad' to the bone
J-J-J-Jihad'
J-J-J-Jihad'
Jihadi to the bone

1. I saw this run by on the famous Times Square news scroll...
Two nights ago on my way home:

9/11 MASTERMINDS SAY THEY'RE 'TERRORISTS TO THE BONE'

Or at least the judge of the tribunal that Obama suspended says they said so in a joint statement, no less.

It won't surprise me if the next step is a Stammheim prison job. (A reference to the 1977 suicides or 'suiciding' of the Baader-Meinhof leadership at Stammheim prison, though one survived.)

Larisa Alexandrovna deconstructs this latest idiocy in psywar ably, so I don't have to...

We are being spoon-fed stupid again...

Can someone explain to me how 5 suspected members of Al Qaeda (although there is no question regarding KSM) suddenly got their own PR machine from inside Gitmo and at the hands of a military judge, not to mention getting a world stage through which to frighten Americans some more? And the media? Well, they are too well versed is stupid to ask any sensible questions:
Quote:
"Five Guantanamo prisoners accused in the September 11, 2001, terror attacks on the U.S. staunchly defended their actions, calling the operation "blessed" and "great" and the accusations against them "badges of honor."

"You are the last nation that has the right to speak about civilians and killing civilians," the five said in a response this month to the U.S. government's war crimes charges.

"You are professional criminals, with all the meaning the words carry," the response said. "Therefore, we will treat you the same. We will attack you, just like you have attacked us, and whomever initiated the attacks is the guilty party."

The six-page response from Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, who plotted the attacks, and four others castigates the actions of the United States and its allies in the Middle East and calls the United States "the terrorist country number one in the world."'

Okay, now someone explain the following to me:

1. How did 5 alleged Al Qaeda members come together to form this statement, given that they are being held each in isolation at Gitmo? Are they allowed to meet and discuss various topics, including their alleged joy at bombing the United States? Somehow I don't think so. We know that some of their own attorneys were not even aware of this filing or what it said. So was this done telepathically?

2. And how is it that this filing was accepted by the court when some of the attorneys for the 5 men were not even aware that such a thing was going to be filed? Take a gander:

2. The "confession" is a typed statement in English with no signatures...

as al-Hawsawi's lawyer, who did not see the document before the tribunal "judge" released it, pointed out...

Is this one going to stand?

I'm generally sympathetic with the complaints defense attorneys are making about the release of the latest diatribe from Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and friends. Much of the attention has focused on the question, "Why is the military judge in the case issuing orders in this case when Obama has halted all commissions?" perhaps not least because it recalls the actions of James Pohl, who refused to stay Rahim al-Nashiri's trial after Obama ordered all proceedings to halt.

But the complaints I'm most interested in have to do with the genesis of the document itself. What proof is there that all five detainees have signed this document, Adam al-Hawsawi's attorney asked, when all we've got is a typed English document.

QUOTE:
"There is no evidence that Mr. al Hawsawi knew about, read or signed this document ," Maj. Jon Jackson said in an email. "It is a typed message in English with no signature. I object to this highly irregular document release." Maj. Jackson said he was unaware of the statement until the military judge ordered copies sent to attorneys Monday.

And how is it that this document has been published so quickly, other defense attorneys ask, when their own filings still haven't been released?

QUOTE:
Defense attorneys and civil liberties groups said that the speed with which Judge Stephen R. Henley, an Army colonel, released the statement after reviewing it March 5 was troubling. They pointed to an e-mail from the clerk of court for the military commissions to counsel on the issue, which said, "I have been asked by our . . . folks to release the documents ASAP."

Defense attorneys said they are still trying to secure the release of pleadings they filed eight months ago...

SNIP

I guess the Gitmo apologists can produce propaganda quickly when they feel the need.

I know the Pentagon's admission that this document was an "interpretative" work, if one is issued, is not going to be on the Times Square news scroll!
