Former Pentagon boss Donald Rumsfeld is hard at work on his memoirs and recently interviewed an old associate—former Vice President Dick Cheney. Cheney stopped by Rummy's downtown Washington office, where he runs the Rumsfeld Foundation, a scholarship fund for students interested in government work. The purpose of Cheney's visit: to help the former defense secretary and architect of the post-September 11 war on terrorism accurately remember the many events they shared together from the Gerald Ford administration to the Bush years. While there, Cheney had a chance to compare notes for his book on his battles with Democrats, the media, and Joe Wilson and wife Valerie Plame.Which reminds me, is Rumsfeld still squatting in his Pentagon office? I recall he was taking his time moving out and I never heard that he finally did. Maybe someone should check on that...
