Right-Wing Tool Called out in my Constitutional Law Class
Edited on Thu Mar-12-09 07:59 PM by Renaissance Man
There's this right-wing tool in my law school class that was called on her bullshit by my Constitutional Law professor (who's a moderate). I'm tempted to believe she's a Freeper, because during the election, she spouted out right-wing talking point after talking point (even to the point of comparing President Obama to Hitler), and pouted like a two-year old in class the day after the election.

Anyway, today we were discussing Congress' power to tax and spend under the Constitution, along with post-Civil War amendments, and of course, she tries to go into a right-wing "tea party" diatribe saying that she was "listening to the radio" and heard that a famous German radio host said that the United States would endure a second Civil War.

My professor, knowing she's a right-wing tool then asks her, "Well, what's the name of the famous radio host."

She says, "I don't know."

He then chuckes and shakes his head at her.

At this point, I'm laughing inside because I know my professor knows her political leanings, and you can just about guess what "radio host" she was referencing and this "Civil War" that these unpatritoic nutballs are calling for on the right-wing. On the other hand, I somewhat weep because here's a reasonably intelligent person (speaking of her grasp of the law) that uses MINIMAL intellectual curiosity when it comes to politics.

Needless to say, I'm sure she won't go into another diatribe, knowing that her ignorance won't be given free reign.
