The obituary of Jim Cramer's TV personnae

Now I am on the West Coast and have absolutely no idea what was said and will not see it for another three hours, but I am fucking tired of getting scooped by everyone on the East Coast.

Tonight John Stewart decimated Jim Cramer's TV personna and almost made him cry on TV.

The telling blow came at 11:21 when Stewart asked Cramer "If you . ." oh hell its better if you just see it on youtube tomorrow.

3. No, not exactly
"Decimate" means to remove ten percent of something. Jon Stewart did not leave Jim Cramer ninety percent intact.

There was nothing left of Cramer except abject apologies.

When Cramer tried to rationalize and defend, Stewart immediately cut him off, at one point quoting a Carly Simon song - you'll see - a very nice touch.

It was fucking brilliant.

I'm gonna watch the entire, unedited interview on the Daily Show website tomorrow. Their site has crashed right now.

6. You just broke me up......
No, I suspect CNBC will be looking a bit different in the near future.

Yeah, it was impossible to get to even before tonight's Daily Show was over. I was impressed.

Can you imagine how many people watched that show tonight? A record number, I'd wager.................

9. He will not change one bit.
His salary (ratings) depend on him being an entertainer. He wont dare touch that persona.

11. You think?
My guess is that he's got to tone it down now. Either he's a financial expert or he's an entertainer.

He can no longer be both - he got caught admitting to manipulating his hedge fund and he voluntarily admitted that he royally fucked up everything.

12. I don't see how he can even "tone down".. I'd be surprised if his entire show tomorrow wasn't a no-
show or a goodbye, or hour long apology.

14. I'm reeling from the experience still - but I suspect you are not correct on this
when it all has shaken out there will be changes. I'll be watching.

13. You'll thoroughly enjoy yourself. I can't wait for the repeat @ 1:30am...
And it will answer the age old question of "why did Santelli back out"? I have to give Cramer props for even showing up, knowing full well that he would have his ass handed to him. Santelli didn't have the guts.
