You think Cramer will call Jon just a comedian
tomorrow? I mean for just the host of a variety show he basically straight up owned Cramer for the length of a whole show that Cramer was the expert in. I think the lesson here is if TDS owns you one night in a comedy segment do not respond. Comedians are very smart and Jon has some of the best comedy writers in the business working for him. About the best thing you can say to Jim Cramer is you came off better than Jonah Goldberg did. Still I imagine NBC will roll Cramer out to morning Joe or something to try to save his image a little.

2. Speaking of image the rolled up sleeves and the falling on his own sword smelled of PR consulting
remember it was "Brownie" who was advised to roll up HIS sleeves to make him look like he was actually doing something in the Gulf region

BTW- let's not forget that it was Colbert who was the only one to call Bush AND the media out to their faces...at least on a national widely viewed scale

7. Colbert was stunning at that Correspondents Dinner. He's perched
high on a call-the-bastards-out pedestal already.

9. The rolled-up sleeves are Cramer's schtick .......
If you've ever watched his show, you'd see that he works in rolled-up sleeves and a loosened tie. Adds to his air of urgency, to go with his amphetamine-addled delivery.

What his demeanor smelled of was good legal counsel preparing him for his appearance. I'm sure PR people were involved, too, but there is possible criminal activity discussed and publicized, and that means lots of lawyers.

I think he made a huge mistake going on The Daily Show. I think he probably regrets it already.

Stephen Colbert at the Press Corps dinner was fucking heroic. Remember how Helen Thomas appeared in the video he showed during his stand-up? She is also heroic.

6. I doubt his Ego will let him
To go away means to possibly be sent away. I think he has enough Morning Joe's out there with his back to keep pushing the propaganda.

10. Nope...Cramer is cooked!
I doubt he'll ever agree to appear on The Daily Show again. (Deep down I know he respects Jon's knowledge and intelligence.) I was in awe as I watched tonight. Jon did a masterful job of making sure Mr. Cramer could not "plead the fifth". He was held responsible for his ridiculous opinions and advice just prior to our country's meltdown. Bottom line, Jim Cramer should have known better. Obviously, he did not. Thus, he's worthless as an adviser and as a commentator. Who will ever trust his opinion again?????

12. As Jon alluded, Cramer's in cahoots with the market manipulators.
The scumbag couldn't wriggle out of that fact, even though he tried.

14. I haven't even seen it yet
but it was easy to predict.

Jon has about 25 to 40 IQ points over Cramer. Despite Cramer's Harvard Law degree.
