The link below is an old item before the announcement, but it's by the "(Shrub)'s Brain" dude and focuses on the Shrub connection and Shrub's fakery and chicanery.
In the news items today, this SCHIEFFER (Bob's bro) claims to be a lifelong Dem who just voted for Shrub (besides partnering him in the fake "business" deals), voted for OBAMA, served as a Dem congressman, blah-blah.
Governor Goodhair, who just rejected $555M in Unemployment funds from the stimulus package, would never have won again (with 29% ?) if asshat Kinky FRIEDMAN (sL-IMUS's patsy) and the KEETON-McCLELLAN-(2 more married surnames) had not split the idiot "Liberal" student (and teachers') vote. It would help if the Dems could unearth an authentic human as a candidate.
OH, by the bye: Asshat Kinky is going to run again, this time not as an "Independent," but AS A DEMOCRAT!1

.... Schieffer's main claim to fame was as George W. Bush's partner in the Texas Rangers. (He subsequently was appointed an ambassador when Bush became president). Schieffer was the detail guy in the Rangers deal; Bush was always the public face of the team. ....
But it was Bush's role in running the club, his business acumen, that Rove pushed in the campaign's early months. Bush was a businessman. Ann Richards was not. He was the linchpin that made the transaction happen. So when a reporter asked for details of the Ranger deal, Bush appeared ready with answers. ....
Bush turned and looked in the direction of Schieffer's office, but his partner was still on the phone. Bush hazarded an answer, but it was incomplete. Clearly, he did not fully understand the deal even though his campaign was trumpeting his management of the Rangers as evidence of his business skills. Bush turned again, looking anxiously for Schieffer.
"Let's wait until Tom gets back," he said.
Schieffer did know the answer.
