Feeney back in Tally, as a lobbyist
AP: Former U.S. Congressman Tom Feeney is back in Tallahassee but this time as a lobbyist for two Florida cities, Dunnellon and Altamonte Springs.

The Oviedo Republican was defeated last November by Democrat Suzanne Kosmas, who criticized Feeney for his ties to disgraced lobbyist Jack Abramoff. Feeney went on a 2003 golfing trip to Scotland that was paid by Abramoff. While battling for re-election, Feeney aired a TV ad apologizing for the trip and calling Abramoff a "corrupt lobbyist."

Before serving three terms in Congress, Feeney was speaker of the Florida House. He stood on the House floor Tuesday morning during the opening day of the 2009 session, along with other former speakers. He registered to lobby last week.

Former Congressman Ric Keller has apparently found refuge in a local Orlando law firm.. I'll find out more and let DU know about it soon..
