We would have gotten a he said she said debate between two talking heads, one claiming that CNBC was the devil, and the other that it was the second coming of Christ and the moderator (Stewart) would have failed to hold either talking head's feet to the fire on the facts and would have failed to establish that at least one (or both) talking heads was lying by doing independent research prior to air time and telling the public what the real truth was.

Modern TV "journalism" hardly ever bothers with establishing an Edward R. Murrow or Walter Cronkite standard of truth in their story but wants to have two paid spinners/pundits come on their show and duke it out in a fact free talking points kind of way that leaves the viewer worse off than when they started.

Thank you Jon Stewart!
