Disturbing facts about the Alabama massacre. . Why he did it.
This Alternet article shows what corporate media would rather not mention. This shooter had a hit list that included the last 3 places he worked.. (And his mother had an open lawsuit against one of them).

As with so many of these rage massacres from the past 20 years, the more you look at Tuesdays' killing spree, the more you see that the system we've been living under since Reaganomics conquered everything has created all kinds of monsters and maniacs, from the plutocrats who've plundered this country for three decades straight, down to the lone broken worker -- McLendon -- who took up arms in a desperate suicide mission against the beast that crushed him.

So far we've learned that McLendon's hit list names the three companies he had worked for since 2003 -- Reliance Metals, which makes construction materials; Pilgrim's Pride, the nation's number one poultry producer, where his mother also worked, until she was suspended from her job last week; and Kelley Foods, a smaller family-owned meat-processing company from which McLendon apparently quit just last week.

Even more striking to someone who has studied these workplace massacres, it appears that McLendon was bullied and abused at work. One clue as to why he'd end his spree at Reliance, where he hadn't worked since 2003, could be that he was trying to kill the source of the pain: workers at Reliance used to taunt him incessantly, giving him the nickname "Doughboy." Which basically means "fatso" and "faggot" combined: McLendon was 5 feet, 8 inches tall, but he weighed roughly 210 pounds.

3. I've never heard "doughboy" used as an anti-gay slur,
...and Urban Dictionary doesn't list it that way, either:

4. Lousy article. That's worse than Glen Beck grinding his ax over the shootings.
This article blames everything but the shooter. It's almost making a hero out of him.

Not to mention, the "hit list" hasn't been released, and authorities are claiming it's more of a grievance list. We won't know unless it's released.

Lots of words and anger, not much of anything else.

6. I thought ABC reported
that the hit list turned out to be a call-list for work. Like another poster said, he killed more of his own family than he did his co-workers.

5. I can see how his treatment at work could have made him full of
rage, and I can even see how he might have "respectfully" killed his mother and her dogs, but why all the other innocent ppl? He didn't kill ONE person at any of his former workplaces. No one that had bullied him or supervised him. So this article is a real stretch. Workplace shooters and school shooters don't go somewhere else and shoot up a bunch of ppl -- if they do, they aren't called "workplace shooters" or "School shooters."
