He has to look like he's changing. He will try very hard to appear to change without actually changing.

He said in the interview, the only thing he thinks they did wrong was to not see the crash coming. He thinks everything else is A-ok, ethical, legal, or no. He doesn't think the public needs to hear the truth. He thinks only that as long as he makes good calls, all will be well.
