if CNBC and MSNBC weren't parts of the same company.

Perhaps in the future this could be avoided by splitting up CNBC, MSNBC, NBC and splitting them off of GE?

God forbid we not have a giant media conglomerate telling us what to think/buy.

2. I seem to remember that NBC had two radio networds...

and one got split off and became ABC. It's about damn time that it happens again.
