John Stossel is airing an anti-headstart anti-public education show

Stossel is throwing out every right-wing argument possible in his namby pamby singsong way while he "interviews" a "panel" of people (who I suspect are plants) saying things like preschool is a waste of money and why invest in an already-failing system. The last point is close to the Katrina experiment: let government be negligent enough that people will believe government doesn't work. Bush fucked up education enough as well so that people like the ones on Stossel's show can make a similar claim about education.

I hate Stossel and I hate all of those who think the way he does.

14. His show tonight was stupid

It was all ideology stated as fact. There were no opposing views. There was nothing more than anecdotal evidence. Every John Stossel program is identical to all the others. ABC runs them because its a fascist network.

They kept showing highly edited clips of Obama and tried to make him look dishonest.

Twice during the program, panels were set up with only people who agreed with John Stossel on them. John collected a group of economists who disagree with the bailout. He asked for a show of hands for all who were against the bailout. Every one raised his hand. Stossel acted like that meant all economists everywhere are against the bailout.

I agree with him that the border fence is a waste of money though.
