With the short term memory America has....This was a great reminder of
his Tyrrannical regime.

Loved the scene with "Condi"...and so true it is.

And what y'all think of hie rendeveuz with .....David Rothchild?????

May the Royhchilds rest in the conciousness of their own haunting nightmares.

3. The title alone kills me: "You're Welcome, America!" It encapsulates so perfectly dubya's
arrogance, cluelessness, sense of entitlement and pathetic self-love.

A truly unique performance.

13. It was live and tomorrow is his last performance.
He opened on Broadway on Feb. 5th and has had sold-out shows.

15. I like the part about rushing into the abandoned mine.
The whole show was light and airy, but it somehow hit hard at the same time.

18. I agree. I was hesitant about watching it..

...because I'm so sick of Bush but Ferrell really was funny. He hit the right tone.

19. It was
absofuckinglutely brilliant. I took the rendezvous with Rothschild as a metaphor for his self love and obsession with plutocrats and fascists - Western masturbation.

20. I thoroughly enjoyed it
Will Farrell was excellent in it. There were times he caught GW Bush so well that I forgot it wasn't him for a second or two. His last words, "You're welcome America" and then sitting down and flipping everyone the bird was perfect. That's exactly what Bush has done.

22. It was terrific theater and Ferrell did a great non-stop impression
of *...

One moment I thought most interesting is when Ferrell as Bush stopped and talked about how all the deaths incurred by our Iraq War effected him and how he felt about it ... you could have heard a pin drop in the theater. I think, even though I know that Bush would never say or feel those things - that my knowledge of the reality vs the stage made that moment all the more poignant. Found that I was somehow WISHING or WAITING for * to acknowledge those emotions and this staged moment caused me to realize that about myself for the first time. I still want him to acknowledge he's part of the human race I guess. Not sure if that was the play's intent at that juncture ... but that's what it did for me. Anyone else get anything from that?

23. It was great. And I loved his interaction with the
audience, giving out nicknames. And the shoes being thrown at him, the guy yelling that he wants his 401k back. It was perfect.
