Tucker Carlson Attacks Jon Stewart
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/03/15/tucker-carlson-rips-jon-s_n_175078.html

Tucker's just trying to get media attention, and I bet Jon Stewart will rip Tucker a new one tomorrow night.

5. Tucker Carlson would have to be relevent for Stewart to kick his ass again.
That's the downside of Stewart's CNBC take down making the MSM. Now, he's going to have every attention craving RW clown taking shots at him hoping to get on TV.

9. Jon Stewart ripped Fucker Carlson a new one when Jon appeared
Edited on Sun Mar-15-09 12:20 PM by alfredo
on Crossfire a few years back. It was Stewart's truth telling that probably led to the cancellation of the show. Carlson must still be stinging.

A genius, that Tucker.

21. Jon beat him like a red headed step child on a rented mule
.... and Tucker is still pissed. The President of CNN (?) agreed w/ Stewart's
take on Tucker and fired him not long after Jon dropped the whip ass on
him.

Tucker is the child of money and connections and never would have been a media "star"
if not for his family ..... his dad raised money to help that poor Scooter Libby .... and his
grand dad was hooked up w/ "bird's eye" frozen foods and made trillions.

11. Poor Tucker
He's already a has-been, and now, with his obvious rage barely under control, he's trying to ride on Stewart's coattails just to get a little bit of media exposure, another time in the spotlight.

He's also a bald-faced liar and a partisan hack. His comment that Stewart went after Cramer only when Cramer attacked Obama's budget is ludicrous.

Carlson needs to shut up and stay in the shadows, where no one cares about him.

15. Has Tucker learned nothing from his own experience with Stewart and Cramer's?
The more people go after Stewart, the more they look like Wile E. Coyote going after the roadrunner -- off one cliff after another.

Tucker better watch out. Ass whoopin' comin' up. Can't say he didn't ask for it...

17. Its not just him
that says it. Other Right wing loons are saying similar things in a sence that if you critise current adminstration you get smeared from left wing attack machine. Its all about undermining Obama´s credibility and saying that Obama is not for change as he promised.

32. Obama smears are
just typical right wing move.
But if you go back to Irag war years and how ruthless and nasty the right wing attack machine was suppresing people who critise them and now you, when in power, are quilty to the same crimes. That is not the change Obama said he was going to bring! Its politics as usual!

It dosen´t matter if you are right or left cos you will still vote for your party. But it does matter to swing voters!
And that is excactly what Tucker et al are trying to do! Undermine Obama´s Change mandate!

19. Tucker was the reason Jon attacked Crossfire. He has an axe to grind.
Edited on Sun Mar-15-09 12:35 PM by Cleita
Apparently he and Jon had lunch together prior to Jon's appearance on Crossfire. Jon's on air outburst was a total surprise to Tucker and he even said something to the effect that why hadn't this come up before the show when they had lunch. I love it. He's been saving his "I'm so pissed at him" for the right opportunity and there it is.

obama's budget." uh, no. it started when santelli ranted and then blew off a DS appearance, and then cramer's network made a big deal out of it. Who could've resisted.

oh, and did anyone catch the meme "he's becoming the spokesperson for the democratic party?

anyone know when tucker stopped wearing bowties? hmmm, how about sometime after he got his ass handed to him by JS in 2004.

oh, and tucker? cramer is a democrat.

29. Conservatives Never Listen. They Just React.
If Tucker had actually listened to the substance of Jon's criticisms of CNBC and later Jim Craemer, he would have known that what Jon said was indeed true and accurate.

Jon was reacting to the weeks of faux populism on CNBC, and their "outrage". Jon's entire point is that where was this "outrage" when the banks were buying and selling these derivatives and over-leveraging 31 to 1. In essence, why didn't a financial news network sniff out this current crisis.

Right wingers like Carlson live in this binary world of hate/support. If someone criticizes someone that they support, then they're a "hater", "partisan", "hack", etc. Never mind that the criticism is justified.
