Mexico, US carry out exchange of 36 inmates
Mexico and the United States have exchanged 36 inmates who were sent to their respective countries to serve out the remainder of their sentences.

Federal prosecutors say 10 Americans who were tried, convicted and sentenced in Mexico for homicide, weapons possession, drug or other charges have been sent north.

The United States, meanwhile, sent 26 Mexicans back home to serve out sentences for money laundering, drug charges or weapons possession.
