5. Saw it from my house in Miami, about 30 sec post launch.
Put a nice streak across our northern skies. Beautiful clear twilight.

12. I just watched it from my balcony in Fla.
Edited on Sun Mar-15-09 07:06 PM by flyarm
It left a zig zag in the sky of redish color..it was magnificent!!

And there was a little white cloud..just a poof of a cloud that looked like it had been electrified from it!!

I am directly across from the Cape..on west coast and it came right over us!!

Still incredible to see!!

I saw a rocket take off a week ago as well..but it was darker out and it to was incredible!!

May they fly safely!! And come home safely!!

Bless them.

13. Everytime I see a shuttle launch
it brings tears to my eyes. As a teenager. I always dreamed of going to outer space. I just wish that I would live long enough to see us go to Mars or other planets.

16. I went to Titusville to see it in person...just got back a couple hours ago.
It was awesome. Ashamed it took me so long to get down there. Thousands of people were there all up and down the roads and traffic was horrible, but it was worth it. Everyone should try to observe one of these launches before they shut down the program. :bounce:
